Police: Woman Caught Pawning Stolen Jewelry

Wichita Falls police arrested a 50-year-old woman for pawning stolen jewelry.

A person reported jewelry had been stolen from her home. She named Terry Sue Waltz as a suspect. The complainant said she hired Waltz to paint the inside of her home. Officers discovered Waltz had pawned six pieces of jewelry at a pawn shop in February. The jewelry matched the description of the jewelry the person had reported stolen. The total value of the jewelry was $2,000.

Waltz is charged with Theft over $1,500 under $20,000.

Waltz has previously been accused in an ATM scam and arrested for stealing from an elderly man.
