Burk PD: Man Arrested for Stealing Ice Cream Sandwiches

Burkburnett Police arrested a man who is accused of stealing ice cream sandwiches from a home.

A woman who lives on East 2nd Street called police on March 29th and told them she saw Frankie William Browning jump out of a window of a home.

An officer tracked down a person blocks away who matched the suspect description. That person was letter identified as the suspect's brother. He eventually told police it was Browning who broke into the home. Both the suspect and his brother were also caught on surveillance video from a convenience store located near the home.

Browning was identified by the witness in a photo lineup.

The only thing taken from the home was a box of ice cream sandwiches. The homeowner decided to press charges.

Frankie Browning faces one charge of Burglary of a Habitation.
