At noon on Friday the Wichita Falls High School Lady Coyotes will try to go where no Lady Coyote soccer team has gone before, as they look to make the state's elite eight, the regional finals.
They'll be the hosts for the Region I-4A tournament this weekend at Memorial Stadium, and they plan to be playing both days.
They will host the Canyon Lady Eagles (15-4) tomorrow with a spot in the Regional Finals on the line.
The other semifinal, set for 2:30, sees #6 Denton Ryan against Abilene Wylie, whom WFHS beat 3-0 back in pre-district play.
The winners will meet in the final on Saturday at noon.
Tickets are $4 for students and $6 for adults, with tournament passes available at $8 for students and $15 for adults.
Today as the team practiced on the field where they'll play tomorrow, we caught up with Head Coach Rob Woodard and a pair of MSU signees, forward Payton Fookes and goalie Tori Shannon.
