New Overpass Lowers Crash Risk

A new overpass opened in Texoma Friday, and it is expected to improve safety.

The Texas Department of Transportation said the new overpass is located at US 82/277, above FM 378. TX-Dot said the area has a history with wrecks, and the new overpass should help reduce any road dangers at the intersection.

TX-Dot also told Newschannel 6 the area under the overpass is now a four way stop.
