Racial Diversity Topic Of MSU Lecture

A Midwestern State University Sociology Professor is giving students a closer look at racial diversity this evening.

In a free session offered to MSU students, Dr. Josh Packard is sharing his research, which examines students' comments from a racially diverse classroom setting. Professor Packard says he hopes his research will give educators insight on how student race affects the learning environment.

He says his efforts can also help policy makers advocating on behalf of affirmative action legislation.

The presentation begins at 7 p.m. in the Clark Student Center Shawnee Theatre.
