House Catches Fire Twice Overnight

A fire broke out two different times at a Wichita Falls house this morning.  The first call about the fire at Avenue O and Buchanan came around 1:00 early Friday morning.  Fire crews had it under control shortly thereafter, but the single story house erupted into flames once again before 6:00 am.

Newschannel 6's own Rob on the Road was live on the scene as firefighters battled the blaze.  The flames left a gaping hole in the roof.  Smoke could be seen from the east-bound side of Kell.

Crews had the fire under control by about 6:30.  Officials say the home was abandoned.
