Suspect Pleads Not Guilty To Murder Charge

A Texas man accused of stabbing a Wichita Falls man to death plead not guilty to murder.

Charles Lee Davis II, 32, appeared Thursday afternoon in a Minot, North Dakota courtroom.

Prosecutors said Davis, of Trinity, TX, and Donald Ray Flowers were working in Minot when Flowers was killed. Officials said the two were in a conference room at the Candlewood Suites in Minot on March 12th when Davis stabbed Flowers multiple times. Officials said the victim's blood was found on Davis's clothing and on a knife in his possession.

Authorities said Davis and Flowers both worked for the oil company Haliburton.

Friends and family members of Flowers were in court today as Davis pleaded not guilty.
