Terrence Black has been returned from Arizona. Black is from Frisco and was booked into the Collin County Jail in McKinney yesterday. Officials say he is held with a bond set at $1 million.
Black wears a halo brace he's worn since he jumped off a Grand Canyon edge, falling 25 feet.
The body of his ex-girlfriend, Susan Loper, was found in a wooded area near the Dallas North Tollway. Police haven't released the cause of her death.
48-year-old Terrence Deering Black, the suspect in the disappearance and death of 40-year-old Susan Loper, is in both police and hospital custody.
Plano Police are in Flagstaff, AZ, negotiating an extradition order to get Black back to the Plano-Dallas area, where Loper's body was found last week.
Black was hospitalized after falling 25 feet from a location at the Grand Canyon. He could face capital murder charges. Investigators say evidence of foul play was found at a gym where Loper, a former Rider High School graduate, worked. Investigators say Black is also believed to be Loper's ex-boyfriend.
