Wichita County Commissioners Set For Special Session

Wichita County Commissioners will be meeting in a special session Monday.
Commissioners are expected to approve funding to keep the county's Code Red system up and going.
It will cost just over $5,600.
The Code Red system is used to alert people in the county to emergency situations.
Also, Commissioners are expected to approve just over $25,000 for several purchases for the Wichita County Sheriff's Crime Prevention Program. Most of those purchases relate to items for children.
Commissioners meet at 10:00am Monday at the Wichita County Courthouse.
