Pups Raise Money for Cancer

In Electra dogs barked their way into the hearts of locals. Similar to relay for life, Bark 4 Life is where participants walked their way round the fairgrounds raising money for a cancer cure.  About 29 pups and owners came out.  This is the first time this event was held, and it likely won't be the last.

"We've already got $700 and something, so we're hoping to top off today and just keep on going," said Terry Holbert, with Bark 4 Life.

Their goal is to reach $1,000 and all proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.  Participants also enjoyed food, balloon animals, dog contests and face painting.
