Coyotes Fall in Playoff vs Lake Dallas

Wichita Falls High School had to wait since Friday to get their chance to play their way into the playoffs, but Tuesday night in Prosper, they came up just short.

The Lake Dallas Falcons scored 6 runs in the final 3 innings to take a 7-2 win over the Coyotes in a one-game playoff for the final playoff spot from District 4-4A.

Clayton Shaw scored both runs for WFHS, who finished the season 19-14 overall and 6-7 in district.

Lake Dallas (21-9, 7-6) advances to face District 3-4A champion Canyon in the Bi-District round.
