New Wildcats Coach Will Be in Town Monday

Paul Baxter, the new Head Coach and General Manager of the Wichita Falls Wildcats, will be in town on Monday evening for a Meet and Greet at the Parkway Grill.

The event will start at 6 PM.

Also, the Wildcats made a move Wednesday, acquiring the services of 18-year-old forward Chris Pontello from Missoula of the Northern Pacific Hockey League.

Pontello scored 42 goals in 47 games for the Maulers, adding 25 assists.

He had a lights-out postseason for Missoula, scoring six goals and seven assists in six games.

His coach in Missoula was Marcus Baxter, son of the new Wildcat coach.
