Sheriff's Department Arrests Three in Drug Enforcement Operation

The Wichita County Sheriff's Office Special Response Unit, along with Patrol Deputies and members of the District Attorney's Drug Enforcement Unit served several search warrants Thursday that netted three arrests.

At 8:18 Thursday morning, Deputies executed a search warrant at 1801 Rose Street, Apartment #1.  Deputies seized two grams of Methamphetamine and arrested a 39-year-old white female and a 45-year-old white male. They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.  They face charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance over one gram under four grams. 

Just over an hour later, deputies served a warrant at 1614 14th Street.  Deputies found five pounds of marijuana and arrested a 54-year-old Hispanic male. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. He faces possession charges.
