One Nation Under God Prayer Rally

Hundreds of Texomans gathered Thursday night, on the lawn of the Wichita County Courthouse for the One Nation Under God Prayer Rally.

The group among other things prayed for local state and national leaders. Several area pastors lead those in attendance in the prayers, that's the continued effort by organizers to get God back in the forefront of America.

"We've fallen and have many problems at this time and the only way we think we can have salvation and save our nation is through prayer and putting god back where he belongs, in our nation." said Randy Funston

Today is a National Day of Prayer recognized by the Federal Government.

U.S. Senator John Cornyn said in a statement that it's a day that he joins all Texans in giving thanks for the blessings we all take for granted.
