Deputies Bust Two People For Having Meth

Two people are behind bars accused of having methamphetamine and other items used to make meth.

Deputies were patrolling near the Helena Chemical plant on Fm 368 in Iowa Park May 4th.

Deputies performed a traffic stop on a white pick up truck that pulled into the area of the plant where a patrol unit was parked and then accelerated onto FM 367. Pickup had expired registration.

Deputies searched the truck say they found a duffle bag containing tubing, salt, liquid drain opener, starting fluid, coffee filters and a glass jar with meth.

The driver, Susan Tiffany, 51 and passenger Kenneth Maness, 41 are both charged with manufacture-delivery of a controlled substance.

Deputies searched Tiffany's purse and say they found baggies containing meth, scales, syringes and a constricting band. Maness also had an outstanding warrant for bond forfeiture.
