Joint Warrior Challenge Brings in 210 Participants

Saturday morning Sheppard Air Force Base held their 8th annual 'Joint Warrior Challenge.'

At 9:30 AM military members from all services and squadrons competed in three events, the battle rattle relay, litter carry relay and tire flip. The winning team not only got bragging rights but was also awarded a trophy.

"This was a lot of fun, it was a great way to see a lot of the squadrons and squadron pride from all the different squadrons coming together.  It definitely brings things out of being mundane.  It was a lot of fun," said Senior Airman, Adam Atwood.

There was a total of 210 participants with 21 teams.  The winner of the event was the 365th squadron who won first place for the 4th year in a row.
