Fun Fest in Nocona Brings in Money to Local Economy

Fun Fest in Nocona was a great place for families in the area to have a little fun.  Downtown streets were packed with vendors and activities for all ages.  Those who came out couldn't help but notice characters dressed in cowboy gear back from the 1800s.

"A lot of people are involved in different events but whether it's the poker run or the car show or doing something you know there's a lot of things to do for the kids.  So a lot of people that you might not always see around town will know about this event and will bring their kids out to the bouncy houses and rock climbing walls.  It just helps bring the community together and helps promote the downtown area of Nocona," said President of the Chamber of Commerce, Chris Trumbull.

This is the 15th annual event and it brought in thousands of dollars into the local economy.
