Archer County Fire Under Control

New information on a fire that sparked in Archer County Sunday morning.

The flames sparked near Megargel on Farmer Road.

Officials tell us it burned more than 300 acres, and was under control by 6 p.m. Sunday.

Units from Megargel, Olney, and Archer County all worked to battled that fire.

Officials believe arcing power lines are to blame.

    A high school students in Wichita Falls was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly possessing marijuana cookies while on campus last August.
