Sheriff's Raid Nets More than 7 Pounds of Pot

More drugs are off the streets this week in Wichita Falls as Wichita County authorities haul off around seven pounds of pot from a crime scene.

The Sheriff's Office Special Response Unit teamed up with the District Attorney's Drug Enforcement Unit to serve a warrant in the 1400 block of 26th Street late Sunday evening, where they reportedly seized around seven pounds of Hydroponic marijuana and around $1,900.

A 58-year-old man was arrested for possession of more than five pounds. A 30-year-old man  was also taken into custody for non-related charges, including warrants out of the City of Wichita Falls, Montague and Dallas counties.
