Offer Accepted By MSU For Harvey House Sale

The MSU Board of Regents gathered for a special meeting, where they finally accepted an offer for the purchase of the Harvey House, a university property located in the 2700 Hamilton Blvd.

The details of the sale will remain confidential due to accordance with a Texas Education Code Section. The details of the sale are also exempt from disclosure until a deed for the property is executed.

A closing date for the deal is expected by the end of June. The buyer will have 15 days from the effective date of the contract to terminate the contract.

The property was first a gift to the university from the late Nancy Dullard Harvey and the Harvey family in February 2009.
