MSU's Hagan to play in New Zealand

Former Midwestern State star Chris Hagan has a professional team now.

He signed Tuesday with the Manawatu Jets of New Zealand's Professional Basketball League, the same team for which MSU Women's assistant coach Chris Reay played.

Hagan is expected to make his professional debut for the Jets on Sunday against the Otago Nuggets.

He led MSU to back-to-back NCAA D-II Elite Eight appearances in his two years at MSU, and ranks 4th all-time among MSU 2-year players in scoring, with 1,067 points.
