San Antonio Boy Dies After Being Hit By Two Cars

A 2-year-old Texas boy is dead after being hit by a police car and another vehicle.  It happened in San Antonio street Saturday night.  Police say the child had apparently wandered into the road after slipping out of a nearby apartment through an unlocked door.  The child's parents didn't realize he had left.  Both the officer and the driver of the other car turned around to help the boy after hitting him.   The officer was placed on administrative leave while police investigate.  Officials say the boy's parents could face charges.
