Motorcycle Ride To Benefit Meals On Wheels - KAUZ-TV: Newschannel 6 Now | Wichita Falls, TX

Motorcycle Ride To Benefit Meals On Wheels

Don't be surprised this weekend if you see large groups of bikers touring the falls area.  It's all part of the annual motorcycle ride benefiting the Meals On Wheels program in Wichita Falls and Archer City.

The ride gears up Saturday at the Red River Harley Davidson at 9 am and by 10 the entire group will be enjoying an 84-mile ride through Clay, Archer, and Wichita Counties.  We spoke with one of the riders about the significance of this ride.

"This is our 6th annual time to do this and it has really been a blessing to us to help the Meals On Wheels people," said Vernon Nesmith with the Crimson Cross Riders Motorcycle Ministry.

The ride ends right back at the Red River Harley Davidson where hot dogs and great music will be served up along with other fun activities.
