Bikers Ride for a Good Cause

Bikers across Texoma pitched in some of their time and gas mileage to help benefit the Meals on Wheels program.  By 10 AM on Saturday the riders were on their way to a scenic 84-mile ride through Wichita, Clay, and Archer Counties.  It began at Red River Harley Davidson and ended their too.  Once they arrived back riders enjoyed hot dogs and music all for a good cause.

"We've had a good turnout this morning.  It looks like about 50 bikers and they're helping support the Meals on Wheels in Wichita Falls," said Vernon Nesmith with the Crimson Cross Riders Motorcycle Ministry.  This was their 6th annual motorcycle ride sponsored by the Crimson Riders Motorcycle Ministry.  Our local meals on wheels served more than 200,000 meals last year many of that went right into the mouths of our local senior citizens.
