Crews Battle Wildfire in NE New Mexico

A wildfire is tearing across Northeast New Mexico.  The fire, near Raton, is shooting flames nearly 200 feet in the air and scorching the tops of trees.  The wildfire shut down a section of Interstate 25 and forced evacuations in surrounding areas as a precaution.  State forestry crews and multiple fire departments are trying to gain control of the wildfire.  At last report, there has been no damage to structures.
