Flenoy Sentenced To Half A Century Behind Bars

A Texoma man has been sentenced to half a century in prison for aggravated robbery.

38-year-old Steven Flenoy was found guilty in the 30th District Court in Wichita Falls just last month. Tuesday he was sentenced to 50 years behind bars in a Texas state prison.

Flenoy was first arrested in October 2009 for walking into the Shop and Go Number Two on 32nd Street around noon, reaching over the counter and grabbing more than $300 out of the cash register. He was later tracked down by police at the Budget Inn on E. Scott.

Officials also say Flenoy was convicted previously on multiple occasions for theft-related cases.
