Christian Movement Calls For Judge To Step Down

A ban was lifted earlier this month, allowing public prayer at a graduation.
but now the AGAPE Movement is calling for the resignation of the U.S. District Judge who ruled to prevent a high school graduation prayer.
The AGAPE Movement President says the judge violating his oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution and for obstructing the law.
Randy Funston sent an overnight letter on Friday requesting that the judge prayerfully consider stepping down.

Funston said, "We must, however, remember the long term consequences now facing the Medina Valley Independent School District. In the months and possibly years to come this one judge agreeing with one student have unreasonably forced taxpayers, and the Medina Valley High School District, in
devastating economic times on a local state and federal level, to defend against a unconstitutional, baseless, and frivolous lawsuit, which, indeed, will costs hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars."

Funston also sent letters to Texas Governor Rick Perry and U.S. Senator John Cornyn alerting them to his concerns.
