Congresswoman Giffords Back Home

HOUSTON (AP) - She'll still go to the hospital every day for speech and physical therapy and other treatment -- but Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords will be living at home now in Houston as she continues her recovery from a devastating bullet wound to the head.

Doctors say her departure from the hospital yesterday is a key milestone that could help stimulate her progress. She still struggles to speak and walk.

The congresswoman will live in husband Mark Kelly's home in League City, a suburb near the Johnson Space Center, where she will have 24-hour help from a home care assistant.
