Victim Runs To Police For Help

Arrest paperwork shows a victim of aggravated assault ran from his home in Electra all the way to the Electra Police Department to escape his attacker.

In the report, police say the victim was attacked by David Leon Borders, 48, in the overnight hours of June 8th. The victim told police he was attacked during an argument. The victim said Borders left after the assault, but came back about ten minutes later, kicked in the front door and threatened to shoot the victim. That's when the victim ran out his back door and to the police department. Police said they took photos of the victim that showed evidence he was assaulted.

Borders has been charged with Aggravated Assault.
