TxDOT Event Promotes Driver Safety

Drivers who want safety tips to protect themselves and others on the road can still stop by the Texas Travel Information Center in Wichita Falls.

The TTIC kicked off its two-day safety fair on N. 8th Street today, but the fair is also open tomorrow, June 17th, from 10am to 1pm. There are several booths available promoting safety, including TxDOT, DPS, the Red Cross, Lake Arrowhead, and the Wichita Falls Fire Department. Cookies and lemonade will be served during the fair.

Wichitans and travelers of all ages are all invited to stop by and check out the event.
