Fire Victims Housing Offer in Wichita County

Wildfire victims in Wichita County who lost their homes could get a chance to start again.

Wichita County Commissioners will hold a meeting,  June 27, 2011 at 7 p.m. to discuss financial assistance for those with modest financial means to purchase or build a new home.

All interested are encouraged to come and listen to the presentation even if they are considering a SBA loan.

Last Tuesday, 10-year-old Cole Cassaday and his mother Sara reported a stolen bike to Clay County Sheriff’s Department. After nearly a week of searching Sheriff's K-9 Deputy Joshua Ferguson went above and beyond to help out this young boy.

    A woman is behind bars after Wichita Falls Police Department say she was ran over a man. This man is currently in the hospital with a head injury, no word yet on his condition. WF Officers said, around 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, a man and woman were arguing near East 2nd and MLK Boulevard when things got heated.
