The Blacksox 17U-Black team competed in the Tony Andenucio Memorial Tournament in Pueblo, and split a pair of games.

First, they defeated the previously-undefeated team from Farmington, New Mexico 9-5 to advance to the winner's bracket.

But then in their next game, the Blacksox allowed 7 first-inning runs to Grand Junction, Colo., before rallying back to take a 10-9 lead, before losing 11-10 on a walkoff hit.

They will play twice on Saturday.
