WFPD Touts Major Crystal Meth Bust

Wichita Falls police arrested a Wichita Falls woman for having a large amount of crystal methamphetamine.

The details on the arrest were revealed in an arrest affidavit obtained by Newschannel 6.

The paperwork states Shari Lyn Torrance, 48, was arrested June 9th in the 1200 block of Kenley. Police and the WFPD Organized Crime Unit arrested Torrance during a narcotic's search at the residence. Police said they found more than 56 grams of crystal meth in her bedroom. They said they also found baggies, a digital scale and cash. They said the findings are common with street level narcotics sales.

Torrance has been charged with manufacturing/delivery of a controlled substance.
