Burkburnett Welcomes New City Manager

Burkburnett Mayor Carl Law and City Commissioners welcomed new City Manager Tim James on Monday evening. James was first offered the job in March but turned it down. He changed his mind in May and the Burk City Commission offered him the job again. James agreed to move from Graham where he was Assistant City Manager. Monday was his first day on the job. He replaces long time City Manger Mike Slye who left for another City Manager job. The interim City Manager was arrested on a charge of Public Intoxication back in March.
