Ribbon Cutting Celebrates Hospice New Addition

The Hospice of Wichita Falls is celebrating the opening of the Elizabeth Prothro Homecare Administration Wing.

The event kicked off at 5:00PM with a ribbon cutting and proclamation reading by Mayor Glenn Barham. The celebration continued from 5:30 to 7:00PM today.

For the Past 5 years the Hospice has had the number of patients increase. The increase was large enough to warrant the expansion of the physical facility in order for the Hospice to fulfill their mission to Wichita Falls and surrounding counties.

Because of the generosity of numerous community donors, the addition has come completely debt free.
