Bikers Raise Money for Children's Aid Society

To help the Children's Aid Society a group of bikers set out for the 'Make 'Em Smile Mystery Run' where they checked out the surrounding area like never before.  At 9am the bikers of Green Knights Chapter 54 AFB started their engines at Bully's off Seymour highway.

"All the proceeds are going to be going toward out Christmas fund, which is in December.  We have so many children that we actually have to start thinking about Christmas even in the summertime," said Sheila Choate with the Children's Aid Society

Afterward they enjoyed Bar-B-Que and all the proceeds raised will go to the Children's Aid Society who has been a refuge for homeless, abandoned, and abused children for the past 99 years.  Officials with the organization say with the tough economy they are seeing more children come their way and this bike ride will truly go a long way in supporting the kids.
