Deputies Investigating Two Hardware Stores Thefts

Wichita County Sheriff's Office are looking into two hardware stores thefts.

Deputies responded to the 7800 block of Seymour Highway for burglary of a building Tuesday morning.

The owner of the business says someone forced entry into his business and stole $450 in brass, $1,000 in copper, and OTC Brand ¾" drive 100-600 pound torque wrench valued at $638.00, an X-4 Brand torque wrench multiplier 100 foot pound valued at $273.00, three 12 point sockets measuring 15/16", 23 mm and 24 mm valued at $43.05 and Scorpion Brand 3 1/2" cutting torches valued at $800.00.

Deputies also responded to another theft in the 2800 block of Weetu Road Tuesday afternoon. They were told someone stole a Honda Pump valued at $450.00, a 2" suction hose valued at $48.50 and two discharge hoses valued at $99.00.
