Man Accused Of Hitting Another Man In The Head With A Shovel

Wichita County Deputies arrested a man for assaulting and robbing another man.

Police say Richard Longo, 43, hit a 56 year old man in the head with a shovel and took money from him. 

The man was taken to the hospital with what Burk police call serious injuries. He was treated and released.

The incident happened Tuesday in the 400 block of East 1st Street in Burkburnett.

Longo was arrested Wednesday in the 2600 block of Old Iowa Park Road. He was charged with Aggravated Robbery.
