Parts Of I-44 Shut Down In The Falls For Makeover

TX-DOT officials confirm the on and off ramps of I-44 will be getting a new look over the next two weeks in the Falls.

Ramps both North and Southbound from Missile Road to the Red River will be shut down as needed for resurfacing construction. TX-DOT workers will be willing the ramps, repaving them with new hotmix.

Officials say the ramps will be closed just long enough to complete the work, and that as soon as the hotmix cools and is ready, ramps will be re-opened.

Work starts Monday, July 11th, and is expected to last until July 21st, dependant on good weather.
