The Blacksox 18U team lost a back-and-forth game to the Dewey Seminoles to wrap up pool play the Lawton Colonels Classic.
Rider's Kyler Ritchie helped Burkburnett take a 2-0 lead in the top of the second, only to watch Dewey tie in the bottom half.
After falling behind 3-2, the Blacksox went back on top in the top of the fifth with a 2-run double from Keegan Harman and an RBI-double from Matthew Burkett.
But, the Seminoles rallied back to score the next three runs of the game to win it 6-5.
With the loss, the Blacksox fell to 2-2 in pool play, and has to wait for pool play to conclude to see if the team would return to action for semifinal play tomorrow.
The Blacksox 17U won 9-4 over Spring Valley (Nev.) to advance to the championship game of the Danny Hughes Memorial Summer Baseball Classic in Las Vegas.
