Crowell Now Level 2 On Their Drought Contingency Plan

Crowell has recently implemented their level 2 Drought Contingency Plan.

Residents are being asked to conserve water and minimize water use for non-essential purposes. City officials said water from hydrants is limited to firefighting or other activities essential to safety and welfare.

From 7 p.m. To 10 a.m., homes on North and West sides of street can water on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Homes on the South and East sides can water on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. This water restriction is for those who use hose-end sprinklers/soaker hoes.

All use of permanent automatic sprinkler systems may happen only between Midnight and 10 a.m. On designated watering days.

The washing of cars, trucks, trailers, boats, airplanes or other vehicles is prohibited except on designated outdoor water use days between Midnight and 10am and 7pm to midnight.

Washing must be done by hand held hose with shutoff nozzle or hand held bucket. Use of commercial car washes is permitted. Charity car washes are prohibited.
