ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Former Wichita Falls Wildcats right wing Dan Sexton has agreed to a two-year contract with the Anaheim Ducks, avoiding an arbitration hearing.
The Ducks reached a two-way deal Monday with Sexton, who had four goals and nine assists in 47 games with Anaheim last season.
Sexton also played 17 games for the Ducks' AHL affiliate in Syracuse.
Sexton played 58 games with the Wildcats in 2005-06, scoring 59 points on 22 goals and 37 assists.
He made his NHL debut during the 2009-10 season. He is expected to compete for a spot on the Ducks' roster in training camp.
