Old High Falls to Consolation Bracket at 7on7 State Tourney

Wichita Falls High School went 1-2 in pool play at the 7on7 Division I State Tournament to fall to the consolation bracket.

The Coyotes kicked off the tournament with a 39-32 loss to Stratford, but bounced back with a 52-28 win over North Crowley.

Old High needed to beat winless Franklin to win a tiebreaker and advance to the championship bracket, but the Coyotes lost 53-37.

The team returns to the field tomorrow morning at 8:00, as the Coyotes will face Dallas Jesuit to open up play in the consolation bracket.

Graham eliminated

Graham stayed alive in consolation play at Div. II tournament with a 20-19 win over Pettus last night, but the Steers lost to Alpine 42-40 to open play this morning.

The loss ends the tournament for Graham.
