Three Blacksox Teams to Start State Tourneys

Even though the Burkburnett Blacksox 17U team couldn't defend its Don Mattingly State Championship from a year ago, three more Blacksox teams will get a shot this week.

On Wednesday, the Blacksox 18U team will take the field in the Connie Mack State Tournament at Dallas Jesuit High School.

Then, on Thursday the Blacksox 15U (Ken Griffey) and 16U (Mickey Mantle) teams will start their tournaments, both in McKinney.

Stay with Newschannel 6 for updates from all three tournaments this week!
