Wichita Falls Set To Test Warning Sirens

The City of Wichita Falls is about to test the outdoor warning siren system.
Recently the City added a new warning system with a new radio console that is in the Wichita Falls Dispatch Center. That system needs to be tested to see if it all works with the old sirens and the new sirens. There will be two tests. The first one is this Monday (7/25) at noon. It will be testing only 15 of the sirens. Another test will run next Monday (8/1) and will include all 49 sirens through out Wichita Falls.

    A popular Nocona restaurant is serving up food once again after shutting down from fire damage. Bear's Den Diner caught fire two months ago after a trailer only feet away caught fire and heavy winds spread it to the restaurant. Bear Weller, the owner, said the only reason his kitchen is open is that of his customers.
