Man Accused of Aggravated Sexual Assault Of Child Turns Himself In

A Wichita Falls man has turned himself into Nacogdoches authorities for a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Officials say on Saturday, July 23rd 43-year-old Paul Brian Motes turned himself in and is now in custody of the Nacogdoches County Jail. The accusations of aggravated sexual assault stem from an incident in April 2010.

Motes faces these new charges after he was released from the county jail in June for an unrelated charge of indecency with a child. That charge was later dropped by the District Attorney's office in Nacogdoches. Motes pleaded guilty to the separate charge of burglary and was given five years probation.

Wichita Falls PD say they have never dealt with Mote as a suspect in any criminal cases in the area.
