Hundreds Of Clowns Marched In Mexico City

The Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City received hundreds of clowns who wished to give thanks to the city's patron saint.

The clowns made their way to the Basilica yesterday by walking, dancing, and singing through the streets in their annual pilgrimage. They come to honor the Virgin of Guadalupe and give thanks for their family, health, employment, and each other.

Once they reached the Basilica they attended mass in respect of Mexico's patron saint. The clowns are members of the Clown Club of Mexico. This is their 30th year to make the pilgrimage.
