Benefit For Little Lilyanna

Friends and family members of a 2 year old girl involved in a horrific accident on Henry S. Grace Freeway, in Wichita Falls, gathered for a benefit Sunday night.

Lilyanna Escobedo,2, was injured in a deadly car accident in early July. The toddler faces a long and expensive road to recovery at Cooks Children's Hospital.

To help with piling medical bills a benefit was held at the Eagles Lodge that included a dinner and live music.

Childhood friends of Lily's mom put on the event and say they are grateful to everyone who came out to show their support.

Event organizers also shared some good news about the toddler .

They say the little girl is being released from ICU at Cooks Children's Hospital Monday, and is being moved to her own room at the hospital.

Another benefit to help the family is set to take place at the end of August.

You can also donate to an account that has been set up at First National Bank of Wichita Falls.
