New Parent Agency For Burkburnett Boys & Girls Club

A Burkburnett organization is now partnering with a new parent agency for funding.

After years with United Way, The Boys and Girls Club will now be joining the Hands To Hands Community Fund.

Donors wishing to give to the Boys and Girls Club can now designate their contributions specifically to the club.

After doing away with weekly fees this year, The Boys and Girls Club doubled the number of youth served, something that prompted the change in financial hands.

CPO Executive Director, Sharon Bankhead said "For what we are doing, it was going to be in the best interest for the children that we serve. We've tripled our numbers this year and so we have to think about what's best for our kids and for our organization."

The fundraising campaign will begin in the next few weeks.
