Power Outage In The Falls

UPDATE: As of 10:40 P.M. all power has been restored to Oncor customers in the Southwest Parkway Barnett area. Oncor is continuing to investigate the cause of the power outage.

UPDATE: This just in to the Newschannel 6 Newsroom: Oncor is trying to isolate the problem so they can get the power back on. Right now around 3,500 customers are without electricity around the Southwest Parkway Barnett area.

We have received numerous calls into the station tonight about a large area along Barnett Road in Wichita Falls that is without power. Newschannel Six has calls into Oncor Electric Delivery and are awaiting an answer. The Oncor Power Outage Map shows that more than 1,000 households are without power right now. We will continue to follow this story and give you all the information we can as soon as it's available.
